Site Contests
Contest closed, watch for winners to be posted here.
I want to thank all who sent in entries. Good luck to all ( Big Red )
Here are the winners.
For the best wet fly, tied by Scott Doncaster.
Scott's fly was well tied and represents the color combinations that Steelhead go for. These popular colors are all presented in this fly.
Large flies are the real answer to hooking into large Steelhead.
Nice fly Scott. ( Big Red )
For best dry fly, tied by Michel Paquin.
Although this fly may not stand up to repeated hook ups, it would certainly provoke a hard strike.
I liked the use of the porcupine quill
in this dry fly.
Nice fly Michel. ( Big Red )
Prize winners should receive prizes within 6 weeks. Congratulations to the winners. ( Big Red )

Hey Everbody, I think BigRed has been in the Holiday Sauce a little bit earily this season? I could not believe my eyes when I read about the Contest, and if you have seen and fished any of BigRed Flies you know that they are collector items! The Display Box alone is like owning a Rolls Royce plus 12 of his flies he must have cabin fever? So what are we all waiting for let the tying games begin and may you all have a Great Holiday Season! Big Andy
