:Welcome to the Big Red Fly Box, Fly Fishing School:


The following courses are available, using a single hand fly rod, 7/8 with 8 weight line.
The courses here are designed to help you fish for and hook more Salmon and Steelhead.
Flies used will be from the Big Red Fly Box collection of streamer flies mostly.





Beginners:

Learn to fly fish, even if you have never picked up a fly rod, in this course you will be taught, two basic casts, the simple fly cast, and the roll cast. You will learn three basic knots required to get started. Very important Safety tips. And lastly, proper care of your equipment.


Novice to pro:

This course will involve, line selection, about flies, dry, wet streamers, and weighted flies.
Proper mending on the fly line, after your cast. Improve your distant casting.

Fly Presentation for Pros, to Masters:

This course will teach you the proper presentation of the fly to the fish, which will help you hook up with many more fish. Also a few tips in how to locate more fish to cast to.

For Spey Fishers, fly presentation is a little different, and this course will help both, single hand fly fishers, and Spey Pro's and Masters, hone your fly presentation skills, and increases your catch and release totals. Tight lines, till later.

Costs, $35.00 per hour, per person.
